Hello Swedish translators,
some time ago I sent an short request for help for maintaining the
Swedish man page translations (which are currently unmaintained, see
below for the original e-mail).

Each help, even little, is valuable - so no need to worry for any
commitment. Even only occasional updates help.

In many cases just a few strings (paragraphs) are fuzzy or a few
strings are needed to get the page back for users, often just 1-4
strings, e.g. chmod(1) would need one strings, some as short as:

msgid "chmod - change file mode bits"

(So if you translate this string, chmod(1) will be back for swedish
readers!).

Also we use compendia a lot, so if you translate/update some (few)
strings, many pages get updates. Some short, some long, examples:

#: archlinux debian-unstable fedora-37 fedora-rawhide mageia-cauldron
#: opensuse-leap-15-5 debian-bullseye opensuse-tumbleweed
#, no-wrap
msgid "NOTES"
msgstr ""

#: fedora-rawhide archlinux mageia-cauldron
#, fuzzy, no-wrap
#| msgid "September 2021"
msgid "November 2022"
msgstr "september 2021"

#: debian-bullseye debian-unstable opensuse-leap-15-5
opensuse-tumbleweed
#: archlinux mageia-cauldron fedora-37 fedora-rawhide
#, no-wrap
msgid "RETURN VALUE"
msgstr ""

So maybe you have some time, e.g. over the holiday season, to work on
one or two pages, or just a few strings.

The current overview (here for Debian unstable, but the others are
simliar and strings are reused whenever possible):
https://manpages-l10n-team.pages.debian.net/manpages-l10n/debian-unstable-sv.html

For example, cat(1) just needs one string to be complete(!):
msgid "cat - concatenate files and print on the standard output"

If you want to know more, do not hesitate to contact me.

Greetings

          Helge
